In the summer, we organized a holiday week for employees’ children for the first time under the name Polymeráček Club. The event was intended for children aged four to eight and was intended to offer safe childcare while schools and kindergartens are closed and parents are organizing their summer vacations. The program took place from July 28 to August 1 at the premises of Testpolymer EU s.r.o. and in the immediate vicinity of the company.

The children were looked after by an external lecturer who prepared morning creative workshops and afternoon outdoor activities. The children made pictures, worked with plaster, painted and participated in games and small trips. Each child received a T-shirt with the Polymeráček logo, which they could individually design. The program also included organized trips, for example to the Javořičké Caves, Bouzov Castle or the Nové Javoříčko area.

The pilot year showed that combining childcare and a corporate environment can have a positive impact on families and employers. The program helped parents better balance work and childcare while also allowing children to experience the environment where their parents work. Based on the experience from the first year, we are now evaluating further options for continuation.
